Kiwami runs on two disciplines — broth held at a slow simmer until it turns silky, and fish cut to order the moment you sit down. They serve very authentic Japanese foods! The ramen soup isn't salty nor greasy, and the broth is very clear & clear with comforting flavor. The quality of Sashimi is excellent! I heard that the Japanese executive chef also runs Michelin listed sushi restaurant in Newport Beach. Today, I had Teishoku lunch, and I chose Chicken Namban & Saba. I highly recommend both!!

The most AMAZING new sushi spot just opened in HB. It’s called Kiwami Ramen although I’ve never had their ramen 😂 Their sushi is sooooo delicious, chefs and staff are actually Japanese and so deeply care for the culture and authenticity. You can get rare Japanese beers here that I’ve never seen anywhere else. And they have a cool cash back program too so I always feel like I’m getting a deal. Please come support this small business so that they’re super successful and stay forever! Currently my favorite restaurant!! 😍

Everything I had was stellar - exceptionally fresh and very flavorful. The staff is very kind and the space has a fun vibe. They have a great selection of Japanese beers and other fun novelty items. The Ramen was one of the best I have had anywhere!
